So weâve just watched Tenet, and this is how I imagine Nolan pitching the script:
Spoilers, kinda
Nolan: âSo the backstory is this: a world-ending artifact was split into nine hidden pieces, and the bad guy is trying to find and assemble them all to destroy the worldâŚâ
Executives: âBoo! Get better material!â
Nolan: âBUT WITH TIME TRAVEL!â
Iâm very sure Nolan really wanted to do that one car chase scene on a Hollywood budget as a cool one-off concept shot and then had to package an entire movie around it.
And it shows.

Currently on holiday in Oxford; went to see the new Downton Abbey movie last night
My review? Nothing happened for 2 and a half hours, loved every minute of it 10/10.
Also got a private screening becsuse I went in for the half eight showing, at which point everyone in the demographic these movies are actually aimed at (the elderly) had long since gone to bed.
Honestly sometimes being old before your time is great.

After watching the trial, I was baffled at the lack of objectivity and heavy use of gendered language stacking against Depp.
I certainly hope that if he wins he goes for criminal trial.
same, hope if she lies in her testimony its proven to be lies, people get time for that not just fines, and the testimony felt so fake aswell, the âemotionsâ hand gestures ect, can deffo tell why a certain somebody always was a d lister at best, terrible acting performance.
Also agreed, I feel theres deffo an attempt to make the case bias in Tuerds favor.
