Pet peeves: The return (Part 3)

Shaving for this interview was a mistake. I look like I’ve gotten younger and fatter.

Going to shiv you.

Give me some milk of the poppy, and let me die…

I’d like to die presently. The stress in my body is high!

That apparently went well (I asked how it went).
Still won’t hold my breath.

The best interview I ever had was for for where I am now. I flew over from Italy for it since we were planning to move back to the UK. Wore my wedding suit because it was the only one I had.

The interviewer knew my old boss somehow so we had a common link. At the end of the day I asked how long before I’d know because if it wasn’t for a while I’d fly back to Italy.

They told me they’d be in touch but I should stay in England. It sounded a bit like a threat but I took it as they meant it.

Fingers crossed for you!

I’ll know by tomorrow at the latest.
Prepared to have a mental breakdown if it goes wrong.

Is it my hair?

I didn’t like the plot twist, breaking the world similarly to shadowlands.

What kind of mod? The only mod I’d consider getting is the one where you can murder the Saint Denis kids…

I expect every planet that isn’t part of the main story or a faction questline to be a barren map with nothing to offer but a handful of auto-generated “dungeons” and enemy camps that are going to satisfy one’s playtime by offering +500 Dopamine Points upon every clear. Interspersed by pockets of wildlife to kill for all your crafting needs, of course.

Recruit people to follow you (gang members that is).
Allow you to get dog companion.
One to smooth out memory usage, which I should get.
I need one to make Arthur look less concerned.

Having an absolute blast with Yakuza Like A Dragon - can’t believe the mad lads actually made a turn based RPG after decades of action-based gameplay.

It’s also one of the best intros to a big franchise, the other being 0. Imagine GTA but set in Japan and actually about something, with a ton of both heart and complete anime nonsense

I mean, given what’s going on, I’d be surprised if he -didn’t- look concerned. All inall, the one with memory usage might be an idea too, my old boy of a pc can use all the help he can get running that game.

I would like to start an argument.

Rey is as much a Skywalker as Leia is an Organa and Han is a Solo.

I will go a step further: Rey is more of a Skywalker than Leia is.

Adoption is valid.

Crikey, speaking of sister-snogging…

George? Is there something you want to tell us?

There has been a raise in step-sister action lately
not saying he is to blame, but maybe all those poor step-sisters who get stuck in places awoke something?

GW2 very quickly fell into the pattern of locate puzzle → do puzzle → feel underwhelmed and exhausted. The first few are fun but there’s only so much timed platforming I’m willing to put up with. Every new area eventually just filled me with dread because I knew there was going to be some horrendous parkour exploration down the line. I still wake up screaming when I have dreams of navigating Tangled Depths. Time spent never felt tallied fairly to the reward offered (congratulations you have pulled your hair out trying to find a group for this exotic, once-every-four-hour-boss, your reward is one mastery point).

This could perhaps all be blown out the window in anything follow Heart of Thorns but I don’t mind. I greatly enjoyed my time with GW2 and it was a very solid one-and-done deal.
