Love being able to understand Italian sometimes. There’s a fairly sizeable Italian community in my county and so every now and then we will hear them out and about.

Went into a cafe this morning with my youngest because my wife is ill, and while I was sat having my mocha a couple of old ladies come in and order their coffee. Accent detected.

As soon as they get their order they’re talking :poop: about how English people make coffee and the size of the cups etc in Italian. Humorous because my wife complains about the same things.

Anyway then they are gossiping away and then I hear them talking about me and my daughter since I’m the only other one in there. Nothing offensive or anything but they are assuming I’m unemployed because I’m out in the day with the little one and how sad the situation is with young people.

So just as I’m getting up to go I start talking to my daughter in Italian, thank the good people behind the counter and go about my day. I’m sure that gave them something to talk about.

They were very typical Italian nonni. Very much what I am used to when we are out there visiting.

almost finished my skyscale after 2 years of putting it off. was waiting to finish it with some friends but i think 2 years with no sign of coming back is long enough.

definetly the most gruelling stage has been gathering the 250 map currencies from each season 4 map but lucky me, the return to achievements grant 250 for the stage 3. finished Jahai and a Star to Guide us last night, and got reminded how sad that episode was. Now onto Thunderhead Keep and All or Nothing for Branded masses

In addition to my comment about Ezra Miller the other day, they’re now missing following being accused of grooming a teenager, soooooo yeah

We really did need to talk about Kevin

(I wish I was that original, but no, stole it)

Can’t wait to send budget YA protagonist Arvis back to the shadow realm again.

Black Eagles is truly the “I have never played another FE game in my life” route.

Still peeved Kevin Feige wants the MCU to be called 616. No, Kevin. You take your Earth-199999 and you like it. Shush.

I could fall asleep right now, right here. Ugh

i’d rather be on Earth-69 instead tbh

might I suggest the Grishaverse instead?

Who is Grisha and what is their verse?

cracks my fingers and starts typing an essay about the New York Times bestselling YA novel Shadow and Bone and the setting it takes place in

Does it have redberry pie?
