My birthday is next week, contemplating getting it for me.
Think one of my switch joycons has died. Worked yesterday, now it won’t pair/recognise at all which is weird. Not sure if it wasn’t plugged into charge correctly or if it’s broke for good, but I guess if it’s the second one it’s time to get a replacement 
At least it happened now rather than in a week so I got time before Three Hopes.

drifted straight into the afterlife
It did have a bit of drift to the stick, not much, and generally not something which interfered with gaming, only minor frustrations on menus.
Granted I did get the switch secondhand so presumably had some use before I picked it up - the dummies at CEX forgot to check for games inside it, so I got a free copy of Mario Kart which I guess offsets having to buy a new controller more than a year after I got the thing.

Mine work fine unless connected to the main console, so I can’t play handheld mode annoyingly, so RIP my travels. Gotta send it to get repaired by Nintendo when I get back to the UK in two months.
I hate the switch joycons. Everything about them is bad.
Got a controller but I like to play a couple games in handheld mode while trying to sleep.

Y’all got joycon issues I have [PRESUMEDLY] docking issues so I can only do handheld.
I may just buy a new dock tbh last time I sent my switch off to repair it took them 3 months.
NOOO. I couldn’t do without my switch for that long >8I I need it repairing but aahhhh.
What made it even worse was I had finally gotten my switch and BOTW after trying to avoid spoilers for a whole darn year.
I got to play 2-weeks before I noticed and had to send it to repair .-.
I should also prob notice that when I sent it off for repair it was a joycon issue as the left one did not charge at all.
Ugh, that sucks.

Cheap hardware.
As much as I love Nintendo and how innovative they are in terms of consoles, I do wish they’d make 'em abit more sturdy.

Ngl, haven’t had any such issue with the Switch Lite since the sides don’t come off.
