Preferably not heat stroke.

They got more people in than anticipated so it’s taking longer.

Summary

He walks with such malicious intent. Look at that devilish little face. He’s going to eat someone’s heart for his malevolent rat god later.

Very cute!

A while ago at the rescue I volunteer our caiman and red-eared slider turtle simultaneously decided they wanted to climb the ramp to go bask on the platform.

In the water is a cumberland slider that was ran over by a car and ended up with her shell crushed. We patched the crack with some sort of super hard silicon stuff. That’s why her back looks like that.

Construction workers have cut down another forest in my neighborhood.

I moved here seven years ago, and back then it was surrounded by beautiful green. Almost all of it is gone now, destroyed to make way for more faceless block houses.

I knew these trees. I watched the leaves grow, and fall, and grow again. There was a row of pine saplings along a forest path, planted with care. All gone.

There’s nothing left for me here. Nothing but anger and bitter realization of powerlessness.

how dare you be advertised a beautiful forest when you buy a house and then be angry when the forest is removed

Fewer green spaces in the country isn’t good. Especially with the number of empty/abandoned buildings that could be removed or built in for the same purpose.

34c outside and ā€œfeels like 38ā€ according to my phone. I refuse to go out even though I need to get food

Bit of sun never hurts

Wait till late evening when it starts to cool.
Or go old time goth and get a parasol.

I accidentally mortgaged 3 million bucks in FF14 because of butterfingers but I guess worst case scenario being ā€œyou now own a houseā€ isn’t too bad.
