Pet peeves: The return (Part 3)

Addendum: Elves with cool technology that I donā€™t want to hit with a shovel.

Itā€™s definitely not malicious - Tolkein loved Jewish people and hated nat sees - but he was also an English gentleman in the 1900s

truthfully Iā€™m not familiar with Tolkein specifically enough to say in as much detail, but the trend of elves being fair skinned blonde blue-eyed superhumans, often with a culture that was flawless but is falling into decline due to outside influence and/or degeneracy, does mostly stem from his work

elves were mostly closer to fae or goblins as we currently understand them before that point

Came across this while browsing and totally not procrastinating.

I wonder who made this. What a mystery. Perhaps theyā€™re among us.

Rejoice. If I so desire, my resting witch face can soon grace your server in all of itā€™s RBF glory.

On the part about the old people of yore, people often forget that the dragons in WoW are supposed to be similar.
They donā€™t know everything. They have their own personalities and prejudices. And ultimately theyā€™re just people. Large, lizard people, but people.
They can get shanked like anyone else.
With this! :hocho:

Iā€™ll be glad to finally meet you in Eorzea!

Incidentally, once cross-DC travel opens up, Chaos Archives will open registrations from the Light DC. And then, eventually, the third European DC once itā€™s playable.

I wish people would use a word other than mana for things.
Unhand the Maori! Get your own term.

It should be fun. Shame I canā€™t quite have the outfit I desired, since the chestpiece is locked behind being married of all things.

I have an alternative in mind, but itā€™s not as striking.

My desired WoW mog is in the wardrobe despite being completely unobtainable since Warlords. Which is horrible since clothing with that color scheme is in very short supply.

To whom it may concern, I would like to simply point out that the Thermal Detonators that Leia threatend Jabba the Hutt with in Return of the Jedi are small nuclear devices.

A Thermal Detonator undergoes a thermonuclear fusion reaction when activates and atomises all matter caught in its blast radius. But theyā€™re designed so that the blast radius is very limited, and everything outside of its blast field (typically about 6 meters, though particularly large ones can have a radius of 100m) is left untouched. Itā€™s a controlled nuclear blast because of space magic.

Marry me! We both get locked transmogs, everyone wins.

Steal a page from Erfworld and call it juice.

Basic terms like spirit or energy work for me. Especially under rules and conditions where its use is exhausting.

Mojo in ten

I donā€™t want to play Austin Powers.
