Pet peeves: The return (Part 3)

Call it manna, represented by loaves of bread

Quite enjoy the terms Arcana or Essence myself, depending on setting.

Also, @Nerathion and other enthusiasts of slavic folklore and games, currently there’s a game in development by a studio that consists of people that worked on both the Witcher 3 and on Frostpunk, and this is gonna be the result.

I think you’d like it , it certainly looks like alot of fun to me!

I take it back. I do want to play Austin Powers.

Dwemer, you cant hit what you cant see. (except that one in morrowind)

I don’t know anything about warhammer but it is my expert understanding that the rat man would like to have some cheese

why is this?

the main food diet of skaven is either ‘other skaven’ or ‘literally whatever garbage they can get their filthy paws on’ so cheese is a rare treat

i think rat man should be allowed to have some cheese

The Skaven of under-Altdorf are actually quite well off and tend to have various human foods, decoration and furniture… and slaves. Don’t forget those.

Thank you, alternate-universe-telaryn

(there are, of course, zero skaven in the empire)

They also write signs in their own language (Queekish) which is considered strange by some, because not many skaven can actually read many “words” outside of that which is most commonly used.

You know, thinking about the menace of the skaven, I almost feel like Warcraft’s kobolds are underused as villains. Imagine a bunch of rat people who replenish their troops every month with their high birthrates, tunneling under every major city and crawling up out of sewers and toilets. That could be at least a whole patch of world quests.

The problem is that they’ve been memed into parody since the early days of WoW.
