A woman who worked for SKR(A swedish county/semi-political work organizer/organization for all counties across Sweden) was murdered yesterday in the midst of our big political event known as Almedalsveckan(All parties basically show up and discuss their politics with the public).
Guess which political party immediately only minutes after it happened began to talk about the collapse of Sweden/how this is proof they are right, up until it was revealed the culprit was a white swedish alt-right extremist with connections to their party? Upon which they instead immediately began to say that talking about it is bad and it “makes politics out of the victims tragedy” etc.
So triple peeve. Peeve that it happened because its an awful tragedy. Peeve that right-wing extremism is not often taken as serious(Often also not labelled as terrorism) and peeve how it literally only took minutes before they tried to spin it as “Foreigners ruining the country!” right until they got proven otherwise, at which point its suddenly bad to talk about the culprit.

ive heard some deranged things in my life but everything related to this has been pushing it considerably. though the astronomical cost to advertise an erp venue has definetly been the most jarring for me so far. too many conlficting sources atm on wheter all involved with that venue have been banned yet or not
