Pet peeves: The return (Part 3)

I probably did!

He was probably like; “jesus Christ, what is that damage?! Oh wait, they only have 30 VIG, pushover!”

I liked the method of the farmers who went and spray painted a government building from white to brown with slurry.

Basically a snack

was it a lot of poop
I hope it was

Recently there’s been action around filling golf course holes with concrete to protest their being immune to water restrictions placed on the rest of the country while it’s in drought conditions. I’ve heard of spreading wildflower seeds on them but concrete is a solid one

Probably. Can’t find that specific thing happening but youtube also has farmers dumping massive piles of manure onto the streets in protest. And farmers spraying milk at a government building over the prices being so low. (That was an EU protest though)

Divert their sprinkling system to any and all more nature-y area in their surroundings. And steal all the balls.

I generally don’t get golf. Boring to watch. Boring to play. The only fun part is the golf cart and you could put those onto a racing track and it would be better too.

I pour the dip in a swirly fashion over the toppings and leave the crust…come at me, bro!

Though I wish those newspapers could be brushed aside as trash tabloids, they’re extremely influential in the UK. People have been talking about print media going extinct or becoming irrelevant ever since the advent of the internet, but it still hasn’t happened in this country.

Though again, maybe my perspective is skewed, as I live in an extremely conservative part of the country with a significant elderly population.

People always say that the death of newspapers and journalism would be terrible for democracy and freedom of info, but while agree with the concept and principle, the practicality of it in the UK is frankly anything but.

Even the BBC is mega guilty of it. I mean, they were showing off doctored images of Corbyn in an Ushanka (real image was just him in that old cap of his) and that’s the National ‘unbiased’ news? Riiiight.

Broadband communism?.jpg

Western politicians and opinionated wazzocks, looking at all the ills that rampant, un-fettered capitalism and the promotion of Greed is Good has wrought;
“Is this communism?”

My ancestors are smiling at me, Imperial. Can you say the same?

People who don’t eat their pizza crusts go to the maw, just like racists. Those two are directly equivalent.

I also use a knife and fork…

To my shame and for a variety of reasons, I’ve bought a month’s subscription. Right now, I’m re-experiencing the levelling process of Shadowlands with a fresh character on Argent Dawn.

Twenty months later, I’m still stunned by how weak the narrative of the Kyrian levelling segment is.

“Behold our beautiful utopia! If this was the afterlife arbitrarily chosen for you, you would have aeons of gruelling training to look forward to, culminating in identity death and your transformation into a feathery cog in the machine that is the Shadowlands. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?”

“Oh no! These baddies are tearing apart our system and pointing out its flaws! I can’t believe they say that sacrificing your cherished memories and your sense of self in order to embrace a duty that was thrust upon you is a bad thing! You have to stop them!”

“… Now here’s a sneak-peak of Maldraxxus, the place where you’re going next. That’s Bastion wrapped up, don’t forget to choose the Kyrian for your covenant!”

Did Blizzard really think that writing the Kyrian like a cult with no redeeming factors aside from the angelic aesthetic would make people interested in choosing them as a covenant?

I decided to drag myself through the pain of the mage tower for at least my main
Complained a lot about it to a friend (which I am sorry for)

No but Divine Toll hits hard, so I chose them anyway on my Pally. About 2-3 of my toons have been sent to a covenant purely for aesthetic reasons… Everyone else got in there because of the BiS mentality.

Watching Ginger Snaps.

Enjoying it so far (minus all the dog killing)
