FF14 post Endwalker
Writer A (the good one, finely in tune with the concept of journeys) The main quest will mainly deal with our own mortality and how to make life worth living in even the most dire of times, both for heroes and villains.
Writer B (the bad one, raised on a diet of Kingdom Hearts and lead poisoning) What if in the post MSQ raid the protagonist goes back in time to fight my dracula self insert (make sure he wears my glasses) together with Griffith in a dress and Lahabreaâs son (because my boss said I couldnât team up with teenage Lahabrea) in a haunted castle. Oh and after the quest we can tell them itâs destiny idk. What do you mean âMeaningâ? It means they fight dracula.

why doesnât he wear a mask like the others, if heâs trying to become perfect wouldnât he base it on the cultural template upheld by his boss (who he says is the most perfect being in existance) which also has a distinct lack of glasses

I mean, listen, if it was like a crossover with Castlevania I would get it but this is ostensibly such a fundamentally important encounter lorewise that the entire world will implode if it doesnât happen and such contrived reasons to slot an encounter into your story make me think of WoWâs story and that is a dark place for your mind to linger that I wouldnât wish on anyone.

As a male Elezen I prefer the invisibility as the only comments I get are âWhy Elezenâ or certain proposals. All that from non-friends ofc, my friends approve of my choice

I donât even get comments on either my male or female elezen.

And then out of the blue get told my highlander looks like a guy and Iâm just like; âlooking for who asked?â
saddens me that people cant just appreciate malezen for just being the malewives they collectively are without going to either end of that spectrum. iâve a fem-elezen, fem-lalafell (their peak black mages okay) and a viera alt and the general consensus i get usually amounts to: âyeah but why not catgirl or pale pale au ra.â

Endwalker seems to be the first expansion where the raid story is absolutely trash but the alliance raid story is an absolute gem and so far the high point of non-MSQ content.
I like the raid story.
I need my friend to be awake so I can give him Blasphemous Blade on my main for him to give my alt.
Thatâs fair, my opinions are always my own and I never mean to speak for anyone else.
I am the opposite, PandĂŚmonium feels so much more as XIV made content and not just a quirky throwback to the older FF games. Not saying there isnât throw backs, but it just feels so much less in comparison.
Also it fleshes some other things out as weâll see next patch.
