Cold-blooded Raptor build currently has 40 VIG and 30 END (who knew Blaidd’s armour was so heavy).
Unfortunately, I’m 3 bosses from the end of Caelid which means I’ll not be upping my damage until after Altus.

So my LARP character has been given the mother of all existential crises and is not handling it well how’s your day going
Same but not a LARP character.
Think I have memorised the Altus route now having done it more than once.
No, not my thing. But I see.
@elly what is this game
It’s great is what it is.
More boring explanation:
Marianne is the character in question, she’s a very depressed lady who talks to animals and is very religious and a bit suicidal, hence the “goddess forgive me”.
Victory animations after a kill are all tied to class and not unique to characters,. Marianne is currently in the Dancer class, which has a, well, dance as its victory animation.
Anime teenagers do be doing war.
So I think I mentioned I got a lot of interest in that Eberron game, and now I’m finally going through the sheets to decide on who’s making it through.
The prompt for the game was pretty direct, and repeated a few times: You’re an adventurer, you’ve got Mournland expedition experience, and you’re loyal to Cyre/Prince Oargev.
Pretty simple, right? You can fluff out here and there without much issue to make it your own.
So why do I have a Karrnathi diplomat and a Dhakanni loyalist in the applications? Did they not read? Immensely frustrating to see people put in the effort but just do so in a way which like…no, that’s not the game we’re doing?
Crafted gear for my team as much as I could afford to do and reattempted the darkspawn gauntlet. Made it to the last emissary boss much much easier and then my party got wiped because the AI can’t deal with his aoe.
Except for me. Knight enchanter being what it is and me now having a new and way more powerful staff I solo’d him with the two npcs tanking the little mobs that kept flooding in who died from my aoe. It took a while but it just proved that they are holding me back and maybe I’m still not going to be able to finish this DLC.
Wait, how do you have Blaidd’s armour prior to Altus?
Did you…?
Game Devs make companion A.I. that isn’t more a pain than a help (outside of bugs and glitches and specific builds) challenge - difficulty; apparently super hard.
If you make the companions competent they win the game for you.
If you make them bad people say they’re useless.
Difficult needle to thread I expect.
Unrelated not a peeve: Dungeon Meshi is getting a Studio Trigger adaptation. They gonna save anime again
The secret is that they didn’t make their characters for your game. They just brought in some of the characters that they had already made for this setting ages ago, that they really like and have wanted to play for years.
Yeah I’m guessing that’s the case - I’ve done it too! We’ve all got a bunch of characters knocking around - but at least make the necessary adjustments, come on…
They’re saving anime from a deluge of absolutely awful fantasy anime by adapting a pretty bad fantasy manga.
At least, unlike all the other fantasy anime out there these days, Dungeon Missme isn’t creepy and lecherous.
Volkmar is a fun lord to play as.
Especially when grand Soulfire has no CD and you can just put him in melee and spam it.
(not related to the post I’m responding to, but hey ho)
Exactly! There’s not a fanservice in sight. Perfection.
It’s ten times worse when you try to introduce people to your personal fantasy heartbreaker setting, only for people to bring in premade characters that they obviously just made for a default game of D&D. At least your players brought in characters actually intended for the setting that you’re using.
its a game you should play rn.
this was not a request.
i am rapidly approaching your location with a switch
Ignores this & continues to pause on Albedo scenes in Overlord
