Megumin’s solo adventure was announced for next year let’s goooooo
I just like that one because it just doesn’t take itself seriously at all. And both the English and Japanese cast seemed to have had a ton of fun with it, which is pretty amazing.
Step on lego please.
That ANGERS me as a sushi lover.
Finally made it through the week of 30+ degrees and of course it just had to leave me a bit of heat rash on one of my ankles as a goodbye present.
At least I can sleep now so that helps with ignoring it…
If I remember correctly that’s one of the hardest fights in all of the DLCs
Pasta with ham and seaweed isn’t even that strange. Eatable cursed food strikes again?
What a terrible day to have eyes.
The logical end point of capitalism, which does not innovate but streamlines for maximum efficiency.
Capitalists should be fired.
Directly into the Sun, preferably.
I haven’t watched a single isekai in my life and I don’t intend to start. Not helping my absolutely unhidden bias against the genre is the fact that searching any (non-piracy related site I promise you) for fantasy will immediately assault your eyes with 12 episode shows featuring an unwashed loser who enters a new world and immediately becomes gigachad.
How Not To Summon a Demon Lord or whatever sounds like a Keti campaign and isekai always seems to come loaded with the idea that slavery of girls isn’t bad so long as they’ve got a benevolent master. It’s a pretty stinky genre.
The Matrix is an isekai, you should watch that, it’s pretty good.
…
Now listen here, you little-!
They should make a realistic isekea filled with lag, gold sellers, bots, russians and french that refuse to speak english, Gamers, a knock off of vixi and goblins that act like GD.
Konosuba is an exception. Mc-kun is an absolute loser who stays an absolute loser surrounded by a team of equally incompetent losers who barely solve their problems through sheer luck.
I hardly ever find anime funny and there are probably 3 total anime that made me laugh and konosuba is one of them.
Spirited Away is also an isekai.
“If you die in this game, you die in the real worl-”
“ANAAAAAAAAL [REND]!1111!!!”
EY YO?
i enjoy both myself. im slightly biased for the english as the VA’s for darkness, megumin and aqua do a few other favourite characters of mine elsewhere. from a certain pov, it becomes Reno, Ryuko, Lulu and Velvet’s Bizzare Adventure which tickles me
while i agree in general, hethes more or less summed up how i feel about it.
shadowbringers was an isekai and i will DIE on this hill
Digimon is possibly the longest running and most successful isekai series.
warlords of draenor was an isekai
Actually that’s portal fantasy
The definition of isekai explicitly requires it to be Japanese media
aschkually that’s just the japanese word for it; even if it was am*rican made, they could still refer to it as an isekai (and I will too because it amuses me to do so)
So by this metric, due to yo mama’s immense size, she too is an isekai (another world?)
gottem
Is that one yo mama channel from 2010 still around? I have to find out.
