Yeah, I know HoMM4 is well liked (at least for its music, though I never enjoyed it myself) by a good portion of the community, but my ranking would be HoMM5>3>2.
3 is really good as well (though 2 holds a strong nostalgic value), but the graphics are just pretty and no sylvan isn’t the only reason why it’s so pretty.
I think nostalgia-wise, 2 cannot really be topped though for me. Necromancer town theme (and for very strange reason, the Iron Golems from the Wizard town live in my head rent free with their hobbling and bonk attack) are so good!!!

While nothing can compare to grinding rep to fly in BFA, pain-wise, I feel for people trying to get flying in ZM. That was me 2 weeks ago, and it wasn’t fun. Ended up acting as a flying taxi for someone yesterday, and it still was a bit rough getting to rares in time. They unlocked flying, though!

I slugged through just enough to get flying in shadowlands
but no way am I gonna slug through the story or quest to do the same in Mortis.

It’s better if it doesn’t, because then me pressing it as a statement of defiance to the group I’m in. I am styling over them.
If it did respectable damage then people would be pressing it to be “meta” and “high DPS” and that’s not what I want out of my flamethrower.
I style on bosses by doing the Manderville but go off I guess

if you think MCH atm is bad I remember it before the Shadowbringer rework.
you younguns didnt have to work with the ammo system.
or the overheating system.
or your main combo only having an RNG chance to advance to the next part.
or having TWO TURRETS.
