Depends on thread to thread, I see [X hidden messages] on some but others (this one in particular) the hidden posters I have here don’t seem to be showing up.
System is whack honestly and a better system would be just better moderation from Blizzard but we do live in a world where that is just too hard for them.
So it may be some configuration of how long the thread has been around + volume of posts + how long a person has been on ignore.

You’re asking for proof of reactions where people defend whitewashing with ‘casting the talent not the person’, while getting enraged when the reverse happens. I told you - Ariel. You pivoted back to STEM field even though I generalised it because it doesn’t happen just in STEM. If you want proof of this happening in STEM, again - we are writing on Blizzard’s forums.

Not sure where the bad faith admission is, you’ve yet to provide a topic where the moderate position is not shared with the far right one, as systematic discriminatory practises in hiring is not news and does not need proof, unless you’re on the far right sealioning people about proof.
Again, closest example is Blizzard, you know, with the current lawsuit that involved discriminatory hiring practises (from Bloomberg: ‘A two-year investigation by the state agency found that the company discriminated against female employees in terms and conditions of employment, including compensation, assignment, promotion, and termination. Company leadership consistently failed to take steps to prevent discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, the agency said.’???
Ideally the system should work you do not see the post or the hidden post thing.
Depending on what the type of thread it seems though appears to dictate what’s hidden.
I think (based on what I’ve just checked) there seems to be a cut-off based on dates.
Obviously this is just speculation, because unlike the other forum you could run scripts.
This barely functioning piece of bad webcode has all sorts of weird malfunctions I’ve seen.
Like, you’ll get shunted onto different characters randomly, character details/guilds/levels don’t update (still level 70 here) and for some reason we get weird posts off people from completely different servers just getting sent here inexplicably.
(edit and it doesn’t like mobile for some reason!)

Also, if somebody quotes somebody on ignore, it should just come up; “ignored content” (which is what it does if you click the extend quotebox option)
Also occasionally malfunctions that if you’re in a thread that is a hot topic, people who are on your ignore suddenly become un-ignored if you scroll too far down.
EDIT: At least the ignore content works SOME of the time.
I mean, I did not disagree anyway, but you are correct that this forum is barely functioning.
It also annoyingly doesn’t correct the post counts, so you think you’re on the last post when looking at the post counts on the right, but it’s still going since it hid the ignored posts.
They’re out here selling skinpacks for like £18 and yet I guess all their efforts are being spent on Apex Legends which I understand is pretty okay as far as games go but it doesn’t have giant robots you can pilot.
