i’ve even tried some more obscure/older mmo’s to get that feel, like neverwinter or LOTRO, nothing seems to be doing the same thing as WoW does.
agree to disagree with XIV. i thoroughly enjoyed Endwalker and its story but the patches, not so much… but thats a discussion for another time/thread. i dunno what it is thats missing, its something that only WoW can appear to fix yet i cant pull the trigger on buying/resubbing.
I’m Peeved that WoW is just Activision’s ; yeah yeah I know it’s Actiblizz now in every aspects ; cashcow that had so very little reinvested in. Honestly, as much as I have little draw to Riot, dudes know how to expand their portfolio and spend their money well.
This reinvestment in WoW could have been a series expanding on how or why there’s further additions in classes or Horde races joining the Kirin Tor as I find it irksome to suddenly see Zandalari among them which I don’t find implausible but where’s the story along? Why are the newly attuned to the Arcane Tauren suddenly don’t have a problem with it anymore in their culture… Times changed or? There could be an actual series about it about how Azerothian factions are moving within the world but nope… Nothing. We’ll never get the WoW version of Arcane.
Didn’t Preach say that during his visit to Blizzard the only Blizz x Acti thing going on is putting things on the launcher?
I know being hard on WoW is trendy but it feels like you should just take a break from the game at this point O.o all I see are these kinds of posts.

I think you vastly underestimate the culture change and influence the Activision side of thing had on Blizzard, not that I’m sitting here with rose tinted glasses pretending they all were golden boys and girls, it’s not just a launcher here.
Don’t know how you’ve been around here but that’s about as mild as I can get “It sucks they didn’t reinvest the money wow made into expanding the universe” because it could, it’s not just a silly comparison with other franchises who have and can but if there’s so much flexibility in the setting why not exploit it if they can’t put it in the game or don’t think of it. I think no one would argue against having more WoW, especially good WoW content.
Finally, thanks for your concern, I have already planned time off from everything.
I’m away until 1st December and suffering on my non-gaming crappy little laptop. I’m downloading the new patch etc smh and will only get to see my dracthyr on graphics set at 1. How sad.
Tomorrow, my house should have internet - hopefully in the morning so I can work from home…
I envy people who can work from home. I wouldn’t say no to having very little travel time between home and work, saving money and potentially doing it within an established window or just finish work and then sod off to outside as a break from work and home.

Had to deal with my mum’s overly strong need for keeping everything so clean it looks like it’s new today.
Going to have to repeat that tomorrow. At least she finally stopped hovering all the time while I’m helping her out.
