True, then again I don’t think anybody has yet to come up with surefire methods of approaching that gets you instant recognition.
All one can do is shoot for it, frequently so until you hit it off with some folks.
I was sick over the weekend and it was the worst.
(It wasn’t that bad, I’m just a bit miffed that the weekend I wanted to do nice stuff in became lying in bed, drinking lemsip and being very aware of my sinuses)

Id heard that he had done bad stuff before, but our news are often slow to pick things up abroad sometimes. This new thing got everthing going though.

did he do some kinda new racist rant? i heard of him being pulled from some newspapers due to contracts coming to an end or smth, not actually being dropped
He’s also a Holocaust denying, Trump supporting misogynist. His most recent thing was telling white Americans to stay away from black people and to refuse to help them under any circumstances.

Scott Adams is a great example of someone poisoning themselves with success, like the early Dilbert strips are mostly actually pretty decent pro-worker observational jokes for office workers. Nothing super amazing but the punchline tends to be “the boss is being unreasonable” and at least at the time he doesn’t seem to have been unusually weird.
Then Dilbert took off in a big way. He did the usual weird stuff people who suddenly come into a lot of money do, and also built a Dilbert shaped house.
Something about this (perhaps the Dilbert house) seems to have broken him, he’s been getting increasingly weird and unpleasant for a long time now.

He thinks that Joe Biden is Satan and that he was going to hunt down Republicans if he won the election. The weight of Dilbert must be heavy indeed to have forced him into the deep end.

In all seriousness it’s probably just that he’s spent many years sitting alone in his weird house internalizing the belief that he deserves his riches because he’s a unique genius.
At least the Garfield guy seems to genuinely enjoy himself.
