I feel like if the authorities didn’t feel like they had evidence to go to trial they probably would have released him by now.
Like he’s been detained due to be accused of legit actual crimes.

For sure. They wouldn’t be extending his incarceration if they didn’t have any evidence – he’s being kept because they’re building a case and presumably have substantiation to their claims already.

They also already announced that a massive part of the extended detainment is due to his high flight risk.

Aye. I’ve been watching lore vids but I’m hooked enough to jump straight into the full game movies in chronological order (supposedly), I just hope the different timeline stuff won’t get me too confused at some point.
They should release the games with the current game engines at disposal really, I understand that franchise never truly got an ending.
In the grand scheme of things, it got an ending I’m okay with mainly because;

All that’s left of the in game cast in Kain and the Elder God and Kain has the Elder God on the run at the end
Not to mention that a big chunk of the recurring voice cast is dead, Tony Jay’s gone (Elder God), Paul Lukather is gone (Vorador), Rene Auberjonois is gone (Janos) etc.
Honestly, I do not want another game, I’ve said it before.
Cannot believe Michael Bell is still hanging on, but he is.
My RDR2 brain read that name and was terribly confused as to what Micah had to do with Legacy of Kain

I read the dreaded name of “Michael Bay” instead of Micah… Both scary in their own way.
Eh, I wouldn’t begrudge a sequel or a updated version of the existing games to be made for us. We win… But I understand being satisfied with what is over what could come next.

I mean, 39 years later Michael Bell was born so-- (wikipedia says game is set in 1899 and Bell was born in 1938)
It’d never capture the way it did back then though.
The reason it has such a theatrical delivery is because the actors were sat in a circle doing their lines, so they had each other to bounce off of.

Speaking of LoK, a friend and I (who are both nuts about that series) were having a chinwag about the voice actors and I was like; “Its not like Tony Jay had an understudy like Mako did for Uncle iroh”
which lead to finding out that the Lion King hit piece “Be Prepared” was actually sung by Winnie the Pooh (which I guess was Jim Cummings at that point?) because Jeremy Irons hurt his throat.
EDIT: You now have to live with that knowledge now, just like I do.
Only partially. Jeremy Irons sung part of it, hurt his throat doing it, and Jim Cummings finished it (from “So prepare for the coup of a century” onwards)

Found Homeworld Deserts of Kharak on a deep discount and am having a blast with it. Very grounded sci fi RTS
It does however have one of my big peeves which is railguns being depicted as laser cannons rather than essentially just big quieter guns
(it and Homeworld Remastered, the two space games, are like £5 for everything on GOG, highly worth it if you’re into strategy games)
