Does anything have the midnight staying up style thing currently book wise?
If they released My Immortal I’d be straight there but that’s about it. And that’s old.
I found one of those books at the thrift shop and didn’t buy it.
Funny how they often said that videogames and violent movies would make kids violent. I daresay if even a quarter of the stuff that we watched as youngsters did that, we’d have committed so many murders even the T-800 would be like “Woah dude, chill.”

Not anything like HP, but I do know there were crowds waiting for the new Twilight book to drop at launch.
This does make me wonder what the target audience is for Zachery Ying (Xiran Jay Zhao, AYO) because I know they stated it was for a younger audience than Iron Widow, so maybe that’s who we should try to get propped up?
And they are writing sequels to both.
It wasn’t in english so that’s unacceptable. The worldbuilding looked okay but translations frustrate me.

Also it’s my obligation to inform you that season 2 of Shadow and Bone, the adaptation of Grishaverse by Netflix, drops 2 weeks from now. So far it has been a good adaptation with the changes made to the source material being for the better, I think. It absolutely retains the spirit of the original and expands on some things I thought didn’t work in the books regarding certain characters.

I know Xiran Jay Zhao’s busy with Heavenly Tyrant ATM (releases in June Elenthas! But I think i told you that already)
I do wonder what the ETA is on the 2nd Zachery Ying book is.
EDIT: Will preorder Heavenly Tyrant nearer the time.
I forgot a new one came out, despite watching Strange Aeons reading it.

I didn’t even know she was still writing them, I was just thinking of books that have been waited for with baited breath since HP.

Onto a completely different topic: Any Hearts of Iron 4 players here? I got the game few days ago, barely got idea what I’m doing. Had to look up a tutorial for the tutorial 
I was obsessed with Redwall when I was a kid around like 9.
Not a clue how the series aged later.
Also a really good children’s series.

They get to keep their identity because they didn’t become genocidal murderhobos like the rest. Some, like the Warsong, went murderhobo like three separate times too.
I think I read like 3 or 4 books. But I enjoyed them back then. And that the main rat villain of the first book was scary.
