Marmite on toast is a perfectly normal breakfast food, as is fried egg+black pudding.

Brown sauce spread on bread/toast alone would be weirder honestly.

I don’t have marmite much these days due to not eating much bread, but it is hella tasty.

Chances are the amount of marmite is the problem, that or the texture of twiglets. Conversely, I’m not a huge fan of them but I do like marmite on toast - twiglets have always been a bit dusty. Taste is fine, texture’s off.
