True, Levey can be really bratty.

…Welp.
Our party’s Warden in Warcraft 5e just died to three bad rolls in a row against a banshee (failed save against wail, failed death saving throw, critically failed death saving throw) just before we could save her.
The party priestess has revivify but no diamond because our party is dirt poor for level 6.
I swear, the dice just conspire sometimes to make us look like the lamest and sorriest adventurers to ever adventure.
Sylvanas defeats the Night Elves once again.
5e absolutely sucks at dealing with party wealth. I could write a lot of words on it, but ultimately the guidance is bad and DMs will frequently end up floundering because of it. In an effort to stave off the christmas tree effect of the 3.5 days, they ended up kneecapping how gold works such that if you stick to the standard guidance, some characters (rogues and monks primarily) will never need to spend gold while others (heavy armour wearers) have a large expenditure at 5-6th and then never spend gold, while yet others (spellcasters, especially resurrecters) will have regular expenditures on spell components.
It creates a weird approach which encourages solo spending but then also gold pooling but also gives no real advice on it.
Pet rogue for every caster so they can get resources for free
Gold in 5E is basically worthless 90% of the time - you need either 50 or 20,000 with nothing in between
Finishing Dragon Heist got our party (who moved on to other modules) a ton of money, which I ended up spending on horse armour because I just didn’t have anything else to do with it
everybody’s baller until the dragon-horse with 18 AC rolls up

Drivers: if can’t see round blind corners…why…oh why in all that’s holy, do you speed up? Can drivers drive to the roads conditions?
In my latest Red Hand game I’ve essentially deleted gold entirely. At the equivalent of session 0 I said we’re not tracking it, any mundane expenditures (food, ammunition, shelter, etc.) you’re assumed to have adequate gold for, and you start with whatever mundane weapons/armour you want.
Previous gold treasure will just be converted into consumables or permanent magic items (more the former than the latter). I’ll still mention gold in treasure hauls for flavour but it’s not an actual thing to concern the party with.
It works okay for this campaign since the original version had little in the way of shops to begin with, so not a whole lot is lost by streamlining this aspect, and hopefully giving them a bunch of consumables will actually encourage them to use them instead of hoarding.
Whimpers in dental discomfort
I actually googled why teeth seem so fragile, after having this filling adjusted/redone.
I will gladly lay a curse on the graves of those who led the charge on sugar and highly processed/soft foods being normalised to the degree they have, undoing thousands od years of steady genetic specialisation in a matter of centuries…
Why are all the Nightborne still broken on the armoury? They’re very Horde flavoured but it’s a bit much…
Oh god hiccups
It’s not just Nightborne
Yeah but you’re lightforged
Makes sense you see?
Why isn’t strobelightforged a customisation option? Lazy blizz, smh.
Turns out Zandalari are also just red atm…
Some are it seems.
Out here looking like a Dark Archon. POWER OVERWHELMING.
