The previews probably concern only the first three episodes or so. I would not be surprsied to see Guel becoming a Char clone, but even then I doubt they’d do the… usual trope of the archetype? G-Witch seems to be tossing a tuned up stuff in, so to say.
I could see Guel easily being manipulated by Propsera, at the very least. Maybe he’ll get the gund format stuff in order to catch up to Suletta.
My only hope is that he gets a happy ending, he’s so weirdly interesting? Death feels a bit like a waste of him as a character.

Speaking of 5E, I finished Solasta’s main campaign the other day. Felt very much like a D&D campaign - a fun time that ate up some hours, with a few criticisms to make but overall good. I really enjoyed the homebrew subclasses they came up with, like time warlocks or fire paladins.
Definitely only get it on sale though - four classes [bard, warlock, druid, barbarian] are DLC-locked

No matter what I do, every campaign I play I somehow end up in Ulthuan. Especially now that in 3 Polly Pocket* actually became strong.

Modless, sure.
With Mixu’s guys on though, she normally gets slowed by the dark elves and ends up fighting Saphery.
I tend to avoid Ulthuan because screw sailing and the musk of N’kari.
I’m actually using sfo. So far in all of our campaigns she got really out of hand and would expand northwards, in the direction of Hag Graef.
Speaking of musk, I’ll make a post about our on-going campaign at some point in the future where I’m playing as Morathi
