Pet peeves: The return (Part 4)

The sound design of the roar at the end is perfectly evocative of the brazen bull and it’s amazing. Victims howling in a bull shaped furnace, the noise twisted by metal into an animal scream.

I very much appreciate the headpats.

Chaos Dwarfs have mastered the art of putting half-fire-elemental-half-demons called K’daai in big metal cages shaped like cannons or bulls, and then firing their incandescent rage in the vague direction of the enemy

Their most famous export, Hellcannons, have to be chained down because otherwise their artillery pieces will run directly into combat to kill things up close

They’re also amusingly phallic.

There’s nothing phallic about the chained-down flesh cannons explosively lobbing globs of liquid levey

They are very bitey.

I resent this.

Honestly they are so precise that this description just doesn’t fit.

Because their projectiles are homing in on the target, unlike mundane cannons.

they are extremely accurate but what they target is up to the being made out of angery to decide

On that note, we have some gameplay

As funny as The Onion article is

need to stop repeating this joke especially when it comes to the biggest joke of them all. She unfortunately does care about trans men, you know, the lost lesbian sisters who have been socially contaminated to want to be boys to… escape the patriarchy or something.

And how its so sad that they will never be able to have children etc.

Their description in Knights of Brettonia was pretty good.
Same with Masters of Stone and Steel.

Good books.

It was in fact written in 2019 I believe, when they weren’t really on the radar.
I’m surprised the hate took so long to spread, but… unsurprisingly it did.

Her writing “TERF Wars” is where the main transphobic rhetoric started and she spends half of that essay going on about trans men.

Before then she did the liking transphobic tweets and got some push back etc.

With the ongoing discussion, I want to remind all of you that you are valid and lovely people.

I love my cis and trans sisters, and my cis and trans bros. And my they/them non-binary friends and pals. And everyone else that does not feel included among these listings.

You all matter

Why do multi-millionaires always seem to spend large amounts of their free time on hate campaigns, when they could actually help people?

They should give it a go.
World actually might improve.

This is a reminder that I need to read Manhunt (“started it” as in, read the first few pages)

But… then who will polish their golden toilets?
