Peeve: Watched a fan vid about Hannibal and now I got silly gay cannibal show feels and nowhere to put them : (
If the people of the peeve have not watched it yet and would be interested please go watch it. We need to infect more people. Yes the main ship of the show is canon. Yes really. Why do people keep doubting everyone on this?
I’m not up to date with the science whatsoever but last I heard there was a chance of getting pain meds that may actually be less addictive/destructive from cannabinoids. Once they let the science science properly that is… no idea if they would be an option for your pain sources though.
We really need to work on how we treat people with chronic pain.
Not in our hearts u_u in our hearts it lives on
NBC giving it the greenlight in the first place was a major wonder of modern times
as is Bryan Fuller getting to pick the people he wanted to be in the show and sticking with it
Someone must have been possessed.
Also it’s really funny to still read new “Wait, they’re canon??” comments on fanvids in 2023
saw someone ask if they edited the audio of Will asking Bedelia if Hannibal is in love with him
Some of the deep fandom may be terrible, but the lore is interesting and the Total War Warhammer folk are nice enough. Quite a few of us here play it and it’s a good way to play Warhammer stuff.
I’ll always suggest a story focusing on a race you like if you want to learn stuff about it.
At least in Fantasy, High Elves are a good place to start - both because mechanically they’re very well-rounded so suitable for beginners and also because they are an incredibly egalitarian faction from top to bottom who engage with other factions fairly regularly.
Also they live on a giant Atlantean donut in the middle of the world that surrounds a gigantic magic vacuum which is objectively cool
I’m not looking for that specifically, but thanks.
But yes, stuff like this is why I’m less comfortable with Middle-earth RP than I am with RP for more modern settings, like Warcraft (even if one is infinitely better written than the other). I feel freedom to write my Warcraft characters’ backstories however I want, as long as I stay true to the internal logic and themes of the world, without fear of contradicting something Chris Metzen wrote on a napkin in 2004 about how night elves spontaneously combust if they ever make a joke about Elune, or something.
