Why isn’t there an exp reward for first time encounters?

We’re not tracking exp :pensive: Strictly because we “won” we would get experience (rules as written is you get experience even if the enemy retreat or surrender, equal to if you killed them) but we’re milestone levelling after encounters (we don’t know what is as players). Yes, this does move us one encounter closer to a level up, but in the immediate reward it just feels like a let down.

We hit 6 one encounter ago, so it seems very unlikely that we’ll get to 7 so soon.

Milestone levelling is nice as you can progress towards your much wanted level on more creative ways, which includes creatively avoiding the encounter with shenanigans.

Speaking of DnD today we have our session, kinda stoked for fun little tabletop game.

Extremely niche appreciation that other people won’t care about but I do the opposite of gatekeeping.
Maya singing the lyrics: “Misete mitai kuro ni somerare yuku kanjō” which translates out to “I want to show you my feelings becoming dyed in black.”

She’s singing to Claudine, or in Japanese, Kurodino.

It was already a love song but it’s a little extra thing that helps to elevate it :blush:

I do not wish to go to work this evening.
I have got back into Darktide with my friends, and aside from the very mild irritation of the initial load into the game being longer than needs be, things are running smoothly.

I crave the blood of heretics and traitors, and the loot and plasteel I can harvest to upgrade my gear even further~
