Morrowind was my first Elder Scrolls, so when Call of Magic (Nerevar Rising) starts I just get sent back to 2004 when my brother came home with the GOTY edition, to a better place.

It’s the same I had when I heard the leitmotif in 2011 in Skyrim and I nearly burst out in tears from just hearing it.

Speaking of new characters, I finally started playing Elden Ring again, and immediately ran into the same frustration as before with my Black Knife build. Namely; it’s a knife. It has the stagger potential of a pool noodle. And I am, frankly, not good enough to kite things while DoTing them to death.

So. New plan.
Acquire Lordsworn straight sword: done.
Acquire Knight armour set: done.
Acquire greatshield and 30 Str.
Become a Guard Counter monster.

Reduvia let me down against the blasted Manor Noble, so…
I dunno, I’m just not fond of daggers. Probably because they do so well with parrying, which, ha, that’s a hahah that’s a ahahah that’s a thing I sure as heck can’t do :sob:

I want to play hunter more. It has a powerful roaming adventurer vibe but I can not get over the animation bug and Survival throwing grenades into a melee fight.

The only thing I’ve ever had problems on with Reduvia is whats-his-face who drops the madness spear and his jail variation later on.

As said, the dagger is backed up with rot breath and black flame spells.

Grenade throwing is just bizzare no matter the range as you’re dealing with a pet in the blast radius not to mention a group.
