apparently the first person in the race to level 100 in hard core diablo 4 achieved their goal, then the game disconnected, and due to the way the game works that killed the character, deleting it.
I was never going to play hardcore, but damn is that isn’t another reason for me to not care for it. Losing hours+hours of progress not for any misplay or gameplay failure, but just because of internet issues - whether that be on your side or blizz’s. Extremely lame.
Man, I miss being able to play an adequate arpg offline.

I come OUT of the gym, and go to set off. Wipers stuck to on.

I assume they’ll have either a summary cinematic or text thing to give you the keynotes for new players.
Guessing the battle system will be reintroduced via Cloud’s flashback to Nibelheim so you can play as a baby again and not be a high level materia-laden fellow from the first moment.
It’s all guesses though, because telling you anything at all?? Impossible.

Finished Ghostwire Tokyo…'s main story. Didn’t bother with all the sidequests, collectables, or its roguelite mode.
It was fine, I guess, but packing the open world with three dozen different types of collectables made me just not care about any of them.
Some pretty cool visuals, an utterly middling upgrade system, and a ‘fine’ combat system.
I dunno if I’d say it was hamstrung by the open world aspects in totality since running through the shibuya streets was pretty cool, but it definitely lacked some in the game design areas.
Got shopping done.
That’s pretty much the ‘good’ part of the day. I did go gym, but now I ache and my shoulder feels worse than it did before and my breathing is still crud.
My car is still knackered; I had to take the fuse out the windscreen wiper so it wasn’t on the whole time, but I can tell it’s still nixed cos the rear one goes on when I go into reverse (its still set to Off. Lol. Lmao)
The place I went to try and get it fixed was winding down for the day and I might have a better shot at it tomorrow. BUT that’s in town, and a ways from the town centre. So if they have to take it in and work it for the day 1) I can’t go home, because that’s zogging miles away (at least on foot) 2) its still a way from the town centre and I just have to… mill about? For who knows how long?
The world is in such a pit right now; chunks of it are on fire, flooded, at war, technology is edging closer to eating our brains, the Billionaires are still not Deceased and now all this. I think this can be summed up with hatehatehatehatehate-
