Okay, I beat Darrazand and honestly, I don’t see the appeal in his VA. It’s very generic ‘rauughh’ bad guy voice acting. And then the dialogue states there was supposed to be a roar and… there’s no roar? None? Like at least the female VAs also act out the emotes! Shrill laughs, moans, whatnot.
the male VAs keep underperforming aside from some select few (darrazand not included)
darrazand also died to a shirt, imagine being such an L guy dang
That and minimalist writing - from someone who still has nightmares about the WoW lines which would be perfect if they got cut down by just a few words, someone saying, “STOP TALKING. FIGHT.” as one of their few lines pleases me

It’s a perfectly competent installment of the Shrek franchise, worth watching once, but with all the hype I ended up thinking, “That’s it?”
I think at this point I’m getting tired of the formulaic tropes (the obligatory third-act misunderstanding in particular should die in a fire), overly chatty sidekicks, and how The True Treasure Was With You All Along and how the treasure must be destroyed at the end instead of anyone getting it to prove that they Didn’t Really Need It. And that’s supposed to be a happy ending.
It is up to people if they want or not, though. I enjoyed D2 Hardcore, not so much in D3, and not at all in D4, and I think I legitimately just grew out of it. But it is always nice to have a rogue-like gameplay for yourself, if you are into it.
I know Aerilen is, he can’t make it past lvl 20 and I can’t stop making fun of him
