I didn’t look, but maybe there’s something in accessibility options for that? Otherwise just hope for mods I guess.
The Patricia’s choice.
So far my drow sorcerer only had one wild magic proc and that was blurr. Suffice to say, I’m extremely disappointed that I didn’t cause a tpk with fire ball before getting off the ilithid ship.
Also I’m not really that well versed in the baldur’s gate lore, but it’s a bit strange how nobody really seems to question why a Llolth drow is strutting above ground. Granted we’ve only just reached the gate outpost where goblins attack, but so far only a pair of shmucks that caught the gith girl even mentioned it.
Also, encountered a few bugs, like the Tiefling leader at the same camp blew a horn that gave everyone rally and then just didn’t do anything, including not ending his turn. On wife’s screen he simply vanished as well. And then after the battle, we kinda lost rrack of wyll (though maybe that isnt a bug and we find him elsewhere).
I will be disappointed if we don’t get at least one instance of a roadside robber random encounter. Rather than attack, Lady Drow can respond with increasing tiers of vicious insults and belittling, the thief turning deeper shades of red before wandering off with a weak, breathy “thank you, miss”…
I’m some 15 hours in to BG3, so mostly retreading steps I already played in early access, albeit slightly more efficiently.
I do have a peeve though: I took Longstrider as a ritual spell to buff my whole party since it lasts until long rest, but it makes a really annoying constant wind noise so I stopped using it. Audio annoyance remover plz.
Seeing that WotC is now apparently dabbling in using Image Gen Software for stuff.
I am so tired. I am genuinely wishing every exec, every pen-pushing suit, every shareholder and everyone who degrades art and creativity to some point note on a spreadsheet a very merry perish.
It was super gross when another forum had small indie RPG creators then turn around and cheer on AI art because they couldn’t make/afford their own commissioned art, apparently utterly blind to how they were going to shoot themselves in the foot.
A mass response by people got WotC to back down on the OGL changes but “apparently” it’s impossible for people to do the same with AI “”“”“artists”“”“”.
It was incredibly hype.
The current arc/storyline is almost certainly one that’s going to work better when you can binge it. Having to wait week and week and sometimes going months between spots on the battlefield is hurting it, but the individual parts are still good, so when you’ve got it all in hand I think it’ll really work.
BG3 Spoilersthe deep gnome I saved, whom sighed, and went ahead with the immediate assumption that he was now my slave and will undoubtedly be subjected to great torment with little to no care at all
there’s also been a druid who got strangely excited at seeing me!
Wake up late, perma-tired mode, my eyes were being weird for quite a while until I used the heatable eye-patch I have (yes, they exist, and they’er a godsend) and I seem totally unable to do anything with my time off. I haven’t even video-gamed at all today.
I WANT to paint warhammer or do some sketching. I’m even considering going to the shops, just to DO something.
So immensely frustrating…
