black dragons are swamp-dwellers, they donāt have any particular affiliation to night/shadow. Thatās shadow dragons, theyāre totally different.

You couldnāt straight up say that you know nothing about them, but you can ask her to fill you inā¦ right before you can tell her that her god smells.
What Iād like is to choose a god during character creation, like in wotr and then have dialogue related to that show up in game a few times. This conversation with shadowheart was a perfect opportunity for my character to say that Llolth is actually pog and she just doesnāt get it.

I dunno if you still get to since Iāve not made one yet, but you could in EA as long as you were specifically rolling a Cleric. I forget if it gave you dialogue tags like class/race do though.
I like the one conversation where you get a chance at pretending to be Lolth and you donāt have to pass the check against the conversation partner but against Lolth (but you only get to know that when you fail it).

Havenāt tried with cleric, but as a sorcerer you donāt get that choice. Would be weird if they removed the choice for cleric (and paladin, if it had one).
It didnāt when I respecced Jaheira into paladin.
But also I donāt think that worked right, after I respecced her she got really mad and left the party forever. I reloaded and did literally nothing different and she stayed, so I think sheās just allergic to not being a druid. Kinda annoying since with Halsin I donāt really need a second druid friend.
Clerics get to pick a deity during char creation and have some deity specific prayer stuff pop up in the first act. (Yes you can be Lolth cleric)
Paladins only do their oath stuff in BG3

Cool selection. It irritates me when deity choice is only made an option/relevant to divine classes as itās a pretty big part of character creation to me.

I guess with how important romance, everyone is really a follower of Sune, in one way or another.
My worst issue with the game is me just having arrived in act 2 with tiefling druid but also wanting to fiddle around with shadow monk drow u_u
The list is already confusing enough. I can never remember how to spell most of these.
Also:
Stole the key, murdered boss man, took the treasure from the secret place and teleported away. Iām better than them.
I guess it would be somewhat difficult to reconcile oaths and being a devout of Llolth, for example.

Vengeance is appropriate for Lolth-Paladins.
As is Conquest, which sadly isnāt in game - though a few NPCs have similar features to it.
I stole a bunch of offerings to some gods from underneath a temple and all I got was a curse, which Shadowheart graciously removed from me immediately.
peeve: wyll has been stuck with a permanent exclamation mark on his head and I have no idea why itās either stuck or doesnāt trigger correctly

I can feel her disappointed looks from here.
It seems like thereās a bug with the convo after you loot the book in mountain pass about Duke Ravenguard - the ! stayed over his head for pretty much the entirety of act 2 for me.
She didnāt even comment on it. I donāt think anyone did, actually. I did get a very cool neck for Shadowheart out of it though - +2 to spell save DCs and an extra use of channel divinity between rests.
Thematically, sure, but mechanically things like killing innocents, which Llolth would be totally 
with, would he counted as breaking the oath with the current system. Things would have to be adjusted for evil gods.
