For pure combat effectiveness, Ekundayo just wins everything. Machine gun archer go brrrr.

But character is more important than raw power, I suppose.

S: Jubilost, Linzi, Nok-Nok
A: Amiri, Tristian, Octavia
B: Regongar, Harrim, Valerie
C: Ekundayo, the twins (sorry ladies, we just never vibed properly and I didn’t understand how kineticists worked until WotR so…benched).

Seems so in these games. I’m tempted to start anew with an archer-elf.

Valid, though I found him toxic.

Meanwhile in BG3 stealth archer doesn’t machine gun… but it do delete boss.

My ranger gets by, but the mob wandering around and beating people to death works well enough.

Kill-slay man thing-thing, yes yes!

There’s purity in simplicity.

-Reinstalls Heroes of the Storm-
Hmn. I’ve probably forgotten how to play, its been so long-
-Turns the A.I. into jam with Artanis-
…Ah. It’s like coming home~

(HotS is unironically good and fun, so I should thank MFPallytime for giving me the urge to play again heh)

Maybe I should do Myth Hellfire Citadel and get all of Archimonde’s demon drip (and a chance at the mount hence myth). It won’t all drop at once.

que it all dropping at once

Well then.

Also watching a cooking vid and the creator goes off on a commenter on another cooking vid who said; ā€œnice recipe, can you stop filming yourself eating the food? Its disgustingā€

Bruh, you’re watching cooking vids, let the creators try their food on camera.

I mean, if everyone can fix all the problematic waifus or twink gays, I can fix Regongar (and did).

Anyway, big peeve with Baldur's Gate 3 and spoilers for Act 2:

So, me thinking the Moonrise Towers are the end point for the act, so I decide to do the Shar place beforehand, as y’know - logic would dictate that you’d explore every other place before going to the place literally everyone and their quests are telling the stories will converge at.

Except, you have some rescue quests at Moonrise tower, and you don’t really get a warning that hey, they will just die (for whatever reason) when you complete the Shadowfell area. All you get is a vague ā€˜the land around you changes and some quests will become uncompletable’ message, which doesn’t specify which quests will or what exactly will happen. Okay - fair enough, but how am I to logically connect this to some quests in Moonrise becoming similarly uncompletable?

There is no logical connection between the two, as you’re led to assume the land around you simply changes except the Moonrise towers, for that’s where every other quest is going to be at! The game doesn’t tell you to go to Moonrise first, because that’s typically where the point of no return will happen at!

anyway rip some gnome and tieflings, hope you weren’t important and i’m apparently not going to find out, but you best not have been the guys who will sell me the druid wild shape armor in act 3 or i will riot.

i hate these obscure random choices that in the end don’t matter, it’s on the level of ā€˜pick between three guys to lead your kingdom, one is clearly the good option, the other is a neutral option, and the third is a bad option. oh, you picked the good option? well, a piano fell on their head and they died, your fault for picking this option newb! choices matter btw!!’

I am very peeved.

staring into the darkness

Last night I fought the hag (yes I’m still in the very beginning area) and that old lady had hands. Lots of them.

I got through it by the skin of my teeth but had to let her go because it was a 50/50 if she would kill me or I would kill her if combat resumed.

Rough.

In my solo playthrough I killed the devil commander from the Nautiloid section and I feel like it broke my playthrough as far as 1st act goes. The bass cannon he drops just one-shots everything even without any on-hit paladin spells I have. I am unstoppable.

Run around everywhere until you get that warning, then turn around and run into all the other corners until you either run out of stuff or find another.
Also don’t worry about your clothes.

I love her humour.

Remnant 2 had some good patches in terms of performance, connection stability, and gameplay re: the moves of certain bosses and the value of heavy armor.

It is a good day.
