Summon the Elector-Counts

Empire of the greeks, pfah.

Just noticed I typed it as the Romance Empire. Nice.

getting the boys together so we can vote on going to war against the Venetians; preferably before I get crowned in Rome so I can never actually attend my Imperial coronation and thus remain a prince until I die

wish I had a woman talk of me the way Anna Komnene talks about the Normans

Today’s pet peeve/red flag: people who use ‘sex’ instead of ‘gender’ in their character profiles.

I still see people saying that their pronouns are attack helicopters. No wonder they are always stood off to the side with no RP happening to them.

Agonising over what kind of druid to make for RP - initially Claw, but finding delight in the sentinel owl form - only to find that 10.2 has owlbear form unlocks available

Delightful, perfect, sorted

Foundation season 2 finale spoilers

Despite occasional reliance on deus ex machina (especially with anything involving the Vault, the Prime Radiant, and the two Seldons), this is overall a good season, much better than the first. The plotting is more intricate, the characters more interesting, the twists more surprising, and the new characters actually feel like adaptations of their book counterparts rather than being in name only.

I have some minor gripes here and there, but overall the story held together well for me. My only real regret is that they didn’t film an important denouement scene for budget reasons:

And I have a couple unresolved questions about the final episode specifically:

  1. But what did he eat?
  2. But what will they all eat?

Glyph of Stars users shall never know Elune’s most perfect form: the owlkin.

Owlbear, owlcat, owl travel, owlkin

Flightless? Nah, this owlkin is fly as hell. :100::100::100::speaking_head::speaking_head::exclamation:

Druid of the Talon who has applied owlification to their other forms.
Your problem is solved.

I listen this on repeat:

And who could not think and weep for what Brutus, adopted son of Julius Caesar, did to his adoptive father after being given it all? Who could not weep at such a horror. The inhuman I say.
