Peeve; the new profession system is very good, and at the same time makes me realise how spread out, clunky and Bad the older tracks are, for the like of Smithing, Engineering etc.

Like, the number of cloth mogs in engineering? Makes no darn sense.
I’ll work my way through, I’m mostly after the mounts and stuff anyway, and getting ready for Current stuff, but still…
WoW is in pretty dire need of a world Reset to establish DF as the new baseline game, and just improve from there. Otherwise we’ll end up in just the same spiral as before the level cap

Given how it’s supposed to be the new cycle, the end of the Arthas saga being [redacted] and now we’re moving forward.

I really hope so. Make Exile’s Reach the one (non-Special cahracter) starting zone and rework the early game experience from the ground up. No more Chromie Time - the old content has not aged well, and unless they want to give us a full ‘History of Azeroth’ campaign (which, hey, I would be ALL in for, tbqh!) then it needs a ‘feels like it was actually built this decade’ refresh.

It seems like Blizzard’s new philosophy with the idea of a Revamp is that it should be impactful, but also shouldn’t FOMO people to hell-and-back, so I theorise that they’ll use Chromie Time as a way to let people travel between world/Expansion phases for ‘x’, ‘y’, ‘z’ reasons.

Why does the ‘gear upgrade’ from 1-60 on a Druid leave you with no belt or wrist slots? Why is that a thing?! And why did I only notice that after vendoring everything and the junk from my bank? Bluuuuugggh…

Edit: There’s not even any shoulders, what on EARTH is this?!

belt too tight

Apparently there’s a viral trend on TikTok where women are discovering with astonishment just how often the men in their lives think about the Roman Empire (protip: it’s a lot)

Ladies; I’d like to assure you that I’m not like those other boys, and my mind is entirely dedicated to the things that really matter.

Glorious

Memes aside, is that ‘think about the Roman Empire’ in the same way as the sudden rash of Social Media accounts with roman statues for profile pics and spouting quasi-philosophical stuff as a vague veil for Basically-Fash stuff? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

The Carolingians. :fleur_de_lis:

Those people know nothing about the roman empire, just great man theory and the cult of heroism.

I almost never think about the Roman Empire

The Holy Roman Empire, on the other hand…

The Eastern Romance Empire, however…

Dream of Constantinople > Fiefs of the Black Cross

Facts.

Imagine not dedicating that time to pondering the empires of the steppe nomads…

neither of those have Prince-Bishops going to war; immediately discarded
