Gotta be a little bit devilâs advocate here, but Oribos and the attendants arenât supposed to be interesting (except for on a grander, spiritual level that entirely flopped I suppose) theyâre literal faceless cogs in the machine working in a liminal space, ensuring that all the âinterestingâ places get their souls.
Brokers on the other hand are individuals who are allowed to have their personalities and culture.
Oribosâ boringness definitely feels like a choice from the writers. A bad one, but a choice.

Dalaran Hearthstone got changed to a toy, so if you have any character who has done Legion content then you can unlock it for all characters

last night I decided to see if I could defeat max tac.
I could not. Could handle 5 star cops no problem but the mantis-blade max tac guy just would not fall over no matter how many shotgun blasts I rammed down their throat.
iâve been breezing through it so far but the boss fights seem harder, i fought the animal lady in pacifica and itâs harder than i remember.
i dare not try max tac tbh. seems like theyâre working as intended

I hold to my headcanon that the Attendants with their floatyness and crested helmets and single eye are rehabilitated/converted Devourers just waiting to malfunction in the absence of the Arbiter, reverting to feeding upon the soul torrent.

Oribos is a standard issue soul filter tube, its model recycled. Basic titan tech logic, or in this case mysterious snake-god tech.
Tazavesh shouldâve sprung up around the soul filter tower/airport in a wide circle, City of Sigil style with its outer limits constantly besiegd by hungry Devourers drawn in by the soul torrent.
