Corpo bootlicker…
Eh, I don’t mind. I probably saved 10 seconds ago because so many mods made playing it very crashy so getting one shot by a dragon wasn’t really any skin off my nose.
Did make playing a stealth archer kind of mandatory.
But I also had a mod that allowed me to bind 1 to 0 to spells and there’s no GCD on that so there was often machine gun fireball too until I ran out of mana.
Bethesda games I usually try to mod normal mode so it’s a little more deadly on both sides. Boosting the difficulty on the standard slider just makes them sword-sponges, it doesn’t seem to enhance their AI or tactics or anything (Bethesda games+tactics, lol, lmao), but you need an excuse to eat the fifteen wheels of cheese in your back pocket otherwise why carry it? So gotta boost the damage you take as well. Not enough to turn into one-shots, but like…2-2.5x taken.
It depends alot on the RPGS for me, but I usually also play easy or story mode, atleast the first time around. Then if I feel better or safer in it, I go through again on higher difficulties.
Alot of RPGS(and tbh, games in general) though just equates difficulty with tons of health on the enemies. Sometimes more damage. But alot of the time that just makes it infuriating as it often becomes clear it was never intended for it and level designs falls apart.
I did mod it on normal originally but then i was just clearing everything really quickly without taking any damage, so I upped the difficulty, then I upped it again.
Mass Effect 2 on Insanity is something I tried but never finished. It is very infuriating to play because it does the usual thing of higher damage enemy/more health, but it also reduces the spawn and droprate of ammo clips.
What I want difficulty to be:-
More enemies
Different enemies
Different abilities
Better AI
New encounters
What difficult almost always is:-
Your damage stays the same or goes down.
Enemy damage+health goes up.
I understand why this is - number go up is a lot easier to program than anything else, and there’s only so much time you can dedicate to this sorta stuff, but even so.
“Mod’s’ll fix it”, I guess.
Using Vanguard to charge past enemies or into checkpoints that would respawn you ‘past’ the encounters felt mandatory at times for this. I know it probably wasn’t, but definitely felt like it.
For its faults, I still really like Scholar of the First Sin for this. In NG+ (So sort of higher difficulty), enemies do increase veery slightly in health/dmg, but the main thing is that there are new enemy spawns and encounters in addition to the original.
So a path that was safe on normal now might have an enemy. A safe chest is now a trap or a mimic. A boss might now have adds spawn.
What if you could have better hearing and balance while retaining a visually fully human form? Would that change your answer?
That sounds less kawaii desu ne
I understand. My curiosity is sated.
Personally, when I want something, I find it worth asking what I really want, and why, and whether there’s a way to get what I really want, and whether I really want what I think I want as well in addition to that.
But if your wish is for both aesthetic and practical reasons, then sure!
I really really really wanna zigga zig ahhhh
Translator’s note: desu ne means “innit”
Am I boring in that I would trade in not being an arthritic lump of meat?
Be nice to do things without having to curl up in pain after or during.
New brain wouldn’t go amiss either, this one has been faulty for years.
Dandadan got an anime announcement for 2024, full release date yet to be confirmed but it’s one that I recommend people keep an eye out for. It’s wild and weird and a little creepy and a little pretty and a lot of silly but it’s very fun.
If you haven’t read the manga, its art is also very good, with some absolutely insane pages for detail that are awe-inspiring for how quickly they get it out.
snorts
I felt that in my soul, creppy butt MFer.
EDIT: Oh sweet Jesus, this man’s first DS dump was funnier;
This is one thing I don’t understand about cat people. If their cat ears are at the top instead of replacing human ears, what does the internal anatomy look like? How do the ear canals go? How does it affect the shape of the brain? Is there even room?
No
The reason why miqo’te are airheads.
Just saw my new current status; “I have a gender and I must scream”
I have not watched the video this comes from, just saw it on my youtube feed.
