All i want is a dark/gothic fantasy book that isn’t an isekai or otherwise set on Earth, has an interesting use of magic, with no fae and isn’t written in first person, and doesn’t paragraph dump irrelevant descriptions for pages (looking at you Wheel of Time)

Berserk is like…the definitive dark/gothic fantasy manga. Iconic and inspirational to many.
