Tangled was one of those films I expected at least a little bit to be ‘Standard fare’ and yet it punched well above its weight in viewing.
Also, yeah, I honestly feel the better Villains these days aren’t the “Oh, but they’re actually relatable” or “See, there’s this deep and insightful meaning as to WHY they turned out like this!” - not to say those can’t be good, but they’re getting overdone and usually by people without the skill to actually fully execute them.
The “Oh, god, they’re horrible… and I’m sure I know someone like that-” are, however 
Let them just be Horrible Little People.

TBC is something special.
Tangled is good but I can’t think about it without remembering that the Kingdom Hearts 3 world adaptation of it had way more romantic chemistry between Sora and Rapunzel than Flynn and Rapunzel.
And I mean, I’d also want to date Sora over Flynn, but probably not the best idea to drive that vibe home when ultimately she does end up settling for the worse guy.

That was Mana-Tombs.
Afterwards I did four more dungeons for the weekly, including a rerun of Mana-Tombs with a different tank, and it became clear to me that if you have to frantically heal DPS and shake aggro off yourself, the problem is the inexperienced tank. In the smoother runs I could just toss a HoT or two on the tank and spend the rest of the time DPSing. Timewalking is supposed to be faceroll content, after all
