My favourite fact was learning that Mari Llwd isn’t a representation of some mythical creature - it’s literally just going around with a horse skull asking for treats. Incomprehensible, 8/10

That feeling when I write a letter in Cirth (the dwarven runic alphabet in Middle-earth, originally invented by the elf Daeron) for a LARP, hand it to Daeron’s player, and she says she doesn’t know Cirth OOC.

Of course, players aren’t supposed to have all of their characters’ IC knowledge, but still, it was an awkward moment. I worked around by reading it aloud!
