Pet peeves: The return (Part 5)

Once again I fail to get the hearthstone toy off Larodar. And fail the loot roll on Dreambinder.

No dracthyr legendary either.

At least this is funny.

I bought VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action on Steam and I’m a little peeved that it doesn’t have controller support. One of the things I like to do when playing games is get a little steppy-on-the-spotty to help burn a few extra calories (especially after Christmas!) but that’s much harder to do with M+K than it is with a gamepad.

Hardly a dealbreaker by any means, but peeve is peeve.

Back on the WoW retail train again, working my way through zone 4.

Bronze flight quests have been very cool. Particularly enjoyed a brief foray into the War of the Shifting Sands.

The Dragonflight codex has come out, depicted as being from Khadgar’s perspective, and though I haven’t read it I have seen enough people quoting bits to learn that Khadgar hates trolls and neither he nor the dragons did anything with them

[the real-life author does not treat trolls with respect]

[khadgar is a pretty :poop: wizard]

pertinent quote, which as the kids definitely do not say is Yikes On Bikes:

“Legend tells us that a fateful group of dark trolls followed the path of a winged creature […] known as a fairy dragon, to a font of immense power they claimed for their own. Transforming them into lithe and graceful beings of superior intellect”

I even forgot to add the next phrase, which is ‘who turned their rustic encampments into marvelous cities focused on the wonders of both nature and the arcane’ which is a wild thing to contrast with the trolls who built the first civilisation and have some of the world’s most powerful mages in the Arcanitals when Blizzard remembers they exist

‘Rustic encampments’ be like

The alternative reading is that dark trolls specifically are tribal and of lower intellect which…ah…hmm…

I’m sure that dastardly Ghost got into the book again.

[blizzard hastily kicking the lore piece that explicitly says this under the bed]

every single other place that Trolls have settled they have built massive and intricate stone cities that focus on both nature (the Wild God/loa they worship) and magic

And so begins my circle of torment yet again.
Some new attorneys come in regarding the inheritance from my dads passing and yet again I feel completely ignored and rolled over from this whole mess of a situation.

THey don’t check any medical journals, they don’t listen and they don’t blummin’ work in favour of me or my brother. I’ve been upfront on the fact I LITERALLY CANNOT EARN MY INHERITANCE BECAUSE OF FINANCIAL AID AND SUPPORT.

I am so tired and I had hoped all of this was over with with the turn of the year but no, I guess it’s gonna be another year of harrasment and being ignored in the legal department from people who lie and cheat and ignore family.

I just discovered that when dracthyr sheathe two-handed weapons, they just disappear behind their back. Boooo.

(One-handed weapons sheathe on the hip as expected)

Call them hunters the way they get that wing clip

Yet another titan cargo cult built atop their containment facilities, dressing up in outfits reminiscent of the local Keeper stone sentinels. It’s all very Däniken.

Zandalari did not build the City of Gold and Atal’dazar to be reduced to Titan squatters like this ):<

Nope, they did not. It all comes out in nazmir questing, the trolls having left their true past to sink into the swamp. The real remaining question is whether they’re properly evolved or were uplifted from this:

Trolls predate titans and evolved naturally.

Chronicles did rewrite this :pensive: sadly it went elementals → titans → other life

BFA re-wrote it to predating Titans again.

They did?! God damn it I’m going to write Starshade’s Second Law at this rate

…Wait, you’re Stonetower?

Well I’m just using what’s in nazmir, showing how the trolls settled old titan facilities as temples and clearly built their fashion sense on that of local keepers, emulating the ancients.

I have many names

I decided to post on my main for a bit
