who would win, the most powerful druid in warcraft or a pile of un’goro dirt
Starshade’s Law strikes again!
got my wife watching doctor who from the 2005 start
i forgot how cringe inducing it can be. but i love it
just this once rose, everybody cringes.
Let us know what she thinks about the Abzorbaloff episode, particularly its happy ending.
in my household we believe in rose tyler supremacy
the one episdoe i will unapologetically skip unless she insists that she wants to experience it
i reckon if i can get her as far as doomsday she’ll stick with it. that’s a tall ask though given how rough the slitheen episodes of season 1 are though. we’re only two episodes deep right now
Don’t be such a coward.
Anyway, the slitheen episodes are alright once the farting’s over and the murdering’s started.
Season 1 is incredibly cheesy and I love it and hate it in equal measure. Her reaction to The Empty Child/Doctor Dances will determine whether or not this show is going to work out for her or not.
Also Eccleston is fantastic (pun intended) and I wish he’d had more time, but he exerted true chad energy by walking away and I will respect him forever for it.
The brutality of Nine watching Cassandra explode and refusing to help her even when Rose asks him to is peak.
If you make it to Tennant then you’re probably golden, since he’s the one who made NuWho truly iconic.
I loved Ecclestone too but he was less of a conventionally attractive romantic hero.
True but I still love the chemistry he has with Rose and pretty much every female he encounters. Rose’s mum trying to jump his bones on first encounter and his blunt refusal is truly iconic.
My wife watched the recent specials on the back of Tennant returning because she likes him as an actor, and thought she’d give the show a proper try given Ncuti is taking over who she also likes.
So yeah, probably if we make it to Tenant she’ll be sold. Not sure how she’ll feel about the Smith run, especially his middle season which I personally really didn’t like.
Smith’s my favourite Doctor so I hope a spider lays some eggs in your chest tonight
I also really like him as The Doctor, I just didn’t like a lot of the stories from that middle season. It was way overcomplicated and Moffat at his worst.
Season 5 was pure though and I also really liked his only season with Clara.
Tbh there isn’t a Doctor I dislike. Capaldi was also excellent. I didn’t watch all of Jodie’s run, mainly because kids came along I fell out of touch with it apart from the odd episode here or there.
My kingdom for Capaldi getting better material to work with.
Found out recently that he used to send so many doctor who fan letters in as a child that the local fanclub thought him a pest.
True and yet the stuff he did get he absolutely smashed.
Him and Michelle Gomez both to be fair as Missy.
I actually find ‘Fear Her’ to be worse. She is probably a sweet kid, or well was, but I cant stand the voice she puts on.
I never found that to be a bad episode, so it was weird when I saw the discourse around it.
The plot itself isnt too bad.
I know that episode is widely hated but I thought it was alright. Not amazing, but fine. Passable.
hot take incoming but i don’t love river song
i’m sorry
ice cold take, spider eggs incoming
