Thanks Imgur I guess?

Hit most viral on my post about the last cat pic.

Depressing.

I’d say that’s him getting some love.

I have them written down, but I went ahead and bought myself the collected stories of H.P Lovecraft first. Once I am done with that, I will probably get one of those or Shadow of the Conqueror from Shad Brooks.

Reading other people’s work has helped me to flesh out the overall narrative and woeldbuilding quite a bit so far. I have just under 10 pages of actual rough text, but I have like 20 a4 pages os scribbles, one lines etc on how different things work in the world and so on.

One of the latest additions has been magic vampires (kind of), as well as trolls that are actually more akin to gigantholopithecus and/or our neanderthal relatives. I am also still trying to make magic have rules while at the same time feeling fantastical and not too scientific. Think of a system mixing Wheel of time and Full Metal alchemist.

Gods are also not things that really ever manifest or intervene in an explicit, divine manner. A bit similar to Westeros I suppose.

I think, going from this, you might find the T’lan Imass of Malazan interesting; neanderthals/proto-humans who swore themselves into undeath through a ritual to wage a war.

I wish i didn’t. Barely get time for a monitor tan these days. :pensive:

Thanks for the suggestion.

They do have that gamer neck, but they aren’t alone. There’s that enthusiastic campaign to fix night elf guys and the tauren lost the war when it started.

Yeah, we’re back with new pills to try. Had I gone in yesterday with him when he was still really unwell, I may have said enough was enough, but he has perked up considerably since then.

So I have a week of pills to try him on and then we’ll see.
