Pet peeves: The return (Part 5)

I think GW having to constantly, whether obvious or subtle, remind their customers that culture war cancer has no place in a hobby, is a shame.

It’s very telling that the Necron ‘flip the entire script 180 degrees’ had little more than some grumbling, and also went on to be pretty well beloved, especially with ‘grumpy/sleepy grandad Con’ style memes etc…

And yet the single mention of ‘the wahmens’ in a faction that was never really ironclad in it anyway, and could stand for some expansion and depth, has illicited such trouser-soiling rage and gnashing.

Edit: Also, I think eventually they will expand Marines to include M/F, if nothing else because it makes very little sense for the brutalitarian Imperium to not be utilising the other 50% of the population to throw into the survival meatgrinder.

personally my Roman Empire is when the rules got changed so T’au can’t shoot underneath their own hovering vehicles

i will never forgive the WOKE for this

Mine would be the double barrel of “Tau being as close to ‘the Good Guys’ of the setting as is possible in 40k was Good, actually. Having one faction to stare at The Horrors and go ‘What is WRONG with all of you?!’ provides good juxtaposition, poor buggers.”

And “Remember that they took Having A Passable Weapon Skill from the Farsight Enclaves. Melee capable Crisis Suits. Never forget, never forgive.”

They still have the line of imperium researchers desperately trying to find out what kind of invisible organic nanites or mass hypnosis the Ethereals must be using to make the T’au loyal and happy because they simply do not believe that they just believe in the Greater Good, which is excellent

They need to put gnomes and halflings into The Old World. I will not elaborate as to why.

Gnomes are there already. you just can’t see them.

All the grey wizards they have.

The gnomish Bloodbowl team they released recently be like

"Hey, wanna see me score a goal?

Wanna see me do it again?"

Meanwhile, my Troll can’t pass his Stupid test, with a teammate stood by him giving him slow, loud, simple instructions, my Black Orcs are enggaed in double-down slugfests, and it’s actually my armoured gobbos that do the most damage, in 3-on-1 cascades of screaming, biting and suckerpunches :grimacing:

I love Blood Bowl. It is amazing (sincere, joyful)

How is the third game? I’m still playing the second when I have free time.

When the green mushroom cloud is countered by a purple one. And it screams.

Not sure, tbqh, I meant the tabletop version  which ostensibly is the same rules version as game 3, but I don’t know if they addeessed any/all their issues yet heh.

Still seems to be quite unpopular with the masses.

when is Blizzard going to release Goreball, the entirely original warcraft sports game based loosely around rugby/american football

They had some sports team-like tshirts a few years ago, so it may already exist. It’s just very underground.

I wish I could run total warhammer 3 without 10 minute loadscreens. Everything else works fine or at least within acceptable means.

Goblins already have footbomb which is objectively superior.

i’ve hit the point of actual no return in rebirth. the game told me that it’s final fight time, and i remembered elenthas’ advice to re-equip cait sith.

unfortunately i understood that if i continued i’d probably be stuck with it for hours so decided to wait until tonight to finish.

i have no idea what to make of what happened at the end of the temple of the ancients. i’m just not going to dwell on it until the credits roll
