Thanks for the knowledge!
I actually ended up doing a co-op campaign with someone once, with him being Karl Franz and me as the Huntsmarshal Markus Wulfhart. Together we brought the Empire everywhere, atleast whenever we could play together.
Also, is there someone here who is dissappointed that the old campaigns from TW:WH 1&2 were never brought over to 3? Because I am comfortable admitting that I mostly played the Vortex Campaign of 2! I actually liked the story of all sides racing to gain control of it first, only to find out weād all been duped by the Skavenās Greyseers, even if you were Skaven yourself, and then having to stop them and take the Vortex for your own goals.
As Sigmar wills it. The Empire endures!
The patricianās choice
I will of course stan the Dark Lady of Nuln until I die, as any good former forsaken main should
I will, without a doubt, add Elspeth to my roster of presses new campaign button, presses empire - actions.
I will miss the Generic Female Dreadlord diplomacy lines that Mixu gave her (āDonāt bother appealing to my ābetter natureā - I donāt have one!ā is iconic) but hopefully sheāll have the same acid
Speaking of voices, re-watching bits of Frieren in the Dub instad of Sub, out of curiosity.
Been amusing how thereās been two voices so far that Iāve paused, gone āI beg your pardon?ā and then google-checked to make sure Iām not going mad.
(Heiter and Eisen both, for those curious)
I am enjoying it so far, I think Iāve just got very used to watching subbed Anime.
The Cass Report is⦠more than a peeve, I want to tear my hair out.
cASS report indeed.
Amazingly, I too can come up with the answer I want for my non-Objective agenda when I ignore over half of the relevant studies relevant to the subject. Truly, who could have thought it?
Still⦠all evil passes. In the end.
Not even half, all but 2.
Iād say āHow did that even pass any kind of muster?ā but I already know how, with this clownshoes Government and its attendant horde of ghouls and parasites⦠-sigh-
Funded by a conservative terf who wants to remove trans as a protected status from the equality act.
I would expect nothing less from the party of āWe investigated ourselves and found we did nothing wrongā
TOW and IEE work well enough for me.
Looking forward to Nippon being added onto the latter map.
I need 8 rep levels with Niffen. Why do Drake Helms have to be rank 19/20 for heck sakes ._.
Fastest way to grind it, send help
Do the Researchers Under Fire every week.
Get a Niffen contract and do WQs.
Trade in Flight Stones for rep.
Do digs with Mirrit.
following up from Distantpeak, you can do 3 digs per week
1 you get baseline, 1 you get as a reward from A Worthy Ally (which gives a big chunk of rep) and 1 you can buy from Ponzo for barter bricks
Have to say I read a bit more into this GW controversy about female custodes being added, and I can start to see where the communityās grievances lie.
I think it is a bit insulting to the gamer(s) that probably know how many individual hairs Sanguinus has on his chest to be told that there have been female custodes since the beginning, when the old lore seems to* clearly contradict this.
They are quite clearly adding them in for the sake of representation. And while I personally despise any sacrifices done to any setting (WoW, Warhammer, w/e) for the sake of external influences like inclusivity, I think the controversy wouldnāt have been half as bad if they had just been honest from the beginning and told everyone āPreviously the lore stated that all the custodes were male, but we wanted to change that to make the custodes as a faction more inclusive to both sexesā.
You could still disagree with their PoV, but at least you could respect their honesty.
*Based on all the evidence Iāve seen it seems quite clear that there were no mention of female custodes before. On the other hand there are also no male sisters of silence, which I find very cool.
Issue is their lore is backed up by one off-cuff lore mention of proud sons selected for the Custodes process, however I direct you to this entire book which keeps their referral as gender-neutral:
https://www.reddit.com/r/AdeptusCustodes/comments/1c461oj/excerpt_from_horus_heresy_book_seven_inferno_on/
There is also from Sanguinius himself a mention of the Custodes being the finest āMen and Womenā he had ever seen, though I donāt recall the exact book he stated it in.
In which case:
If this is not the case then fair enough. Though, the first mention, having them being referred neutrally, doesnāt really prove that they arenāt all males. You can refer to either a male or a female in neutral manner in the english language, after all, without implying that they are both or neither.
The second holds more value to it, if it is a thing. I would not know however, having never read the book.
