Including but not limited to:
- Firing their guns blindly and almost hitting the hostages.
- Almost the gassing the hostages despite direct protest from them to stop.
- Attempts by the police to betray and kill the criminals instead of arresting them.
- Extremely dismissive attitude towards the hostages, while the hostage takers were generally polite all things considered.
Not even the mayor, the PM.

Edit: Ok, non-glib answer aside, I realise it may seem a little hypocritical.
I’d argue, though, there is a difference, and it’s this;
For members of the MoD to not be part of questionable foreign policy etc, people need to stop voting for terrible people in Parliament. That is entirely within reasonable expectation and voter control, based on party manifests.
To change the Police, it doesn’t matter what Gov you have in, you have to systematically tear down and outdated and not fit for purpose system with wider ranging consequences, such as increased interest in mental health provision, social care, etc etc, and do away with a lot of very power-hungry, very unpleasant people entrenched throughout all ranks of the Police Force.

You can say the exact same thing about the Police; for a cop to not be a part of questionable domestic policy, people need to stop voting for terrible people in Parliament
these are factors strongly related to domestic order and take up a lot of time in police work (I know for a fact that here in NL a very % portion of calls is related to mental health related-issues) that are absolutely better served through investments in social work (dedicated workers for this rather than the portion of it that’s a part in the 3 year training here works better!) but that’s an issue not related to the police or officers themselves, but to government investment choices (would I rather invest in direly needed mental health-related investments, or tax cuts for my friends… hm…)
bad news about the military as a whole from all nations that I know here…
In the end both are branches that exist to project the state’s force, the one is just to do so internally, the other mostly externally, and both are very much necessary for the modern state to exist as it is (and if you are opposed to the continued existing of modern statehood you probably hate both!)
Criticisms towards people working the one can easily be applied to the other, ie ‘why would you want to use force against people for your paycheck’ → ‘why would you want to use force against foreign people for your paycheck’ (i tragically realize that line might actually boost recruitment numbers)

went to a european bridge tournament about 1000 years ago and can confirm that Israel was there, it was weird even back then, and they were extremely rude

Tbh our entry this year was not my style but pretty fun and with positive (and knowing the context, quite heartwarming lyrics) which is cool I guess, but more importantly, it was (still is) a major hit song here across the population and especially young people + kids
the best thing to come from this will hopefully be a lack of continued interest in it, going forward, if we still partake in the future we should just send the country’s worst musicians again in order to terrorize the people still watching
