I feel the disqualification without something actually being charged/convicted yet is just such a friccking yikes movement on top of an already questionable event for so many years…
Yeah EBU has what’s coming for them if you ask me.
Just hiding and chucking their ruleset without actually being transparant in a moment they really should of been

I’m intrigued to learn what the actual accusation is; at first it was assault, now that’s been scrapped and it’s threatening language, and the Dutch public broadcaster has already stated it’s something “incredibly minor” according to them

Exactly, the speculation posting has been absolutely WIIIILD
I can understand to abide by another country’s law is a natural given, but I do question what exactly threatening language happens to be? I mean… I’m from the benelux, I feel at times the way we talk might as well count to threatening language 
I just really really hope there’s some substance to this that erases all the speculating posts… And if there’s not, pray might be it’s the curtain call for this corrupted festival.

Honestly, as he was questioned by the police on location without being taken to a station to do such, and the case is apparently with the public prosecutor’s office already to see if there’s an actual legal case to be had or not, whatever it is probably isn’t going to be anything bigger than what’s been rumoured for the past 12 hours - at least if I can assume Swedish legal processes (regarding violations of a penal code rather than private law, I know bugger all about that) are done in roughly the same way as they are here
Anyways if we participate next year I propose that, other than our entry being terrible, we bomb Friesland for half a year before the actual event so we can make sure we remain qualified

Bring back þe þorn. Make þe English language exciting and unique again. All of þe oþer Latin script languages come with cool characters and accents, why not English as well? Force þe rest of þe world to become accustomed to þe elegance and þe majesty of þe þorn.
