Pet peeves: The return (Part 6)

Huh, I found Nerathion’s doppelganger (night elf female druid called Narethion) while disturbed dirt farming, wild

Blasphemy! -ion is a masculine ending!

(-ion and -iel are basically the Elvish equivalents of -son and -dottir respectively)

Should’ve added an a, Narethiona. It’d be right then.

( I clearly went off of black dragon naming conventions here).

This sounds like a Simpsons episode.

But what about Destiel (Spanish)?

Wow, a piece of drow lore that is extremely clearly fetish content? Bold and innovative there Ed my boy.

You will drink the sweet and minty milk and you will find it refreshing.

My brain keeps trying to parse “Destiel” as a Sindarin past participle, like lestiel (having heard) and cestiel (having searched).

Edit: …I looked it up. Wow.

It should translate to “having queerbaited”

new series of doctor who started. i don’t know why i always get myself excited for a new series that might possibly be a bit more adult, knowing exactly what the show is, only to be disappointed

still going to watch it though because there may still be some gems in there. also ncuti is great and i love his vibe

Speaking of creators’ barely disguised fetishes, I just saw the cover of Blood of the Highborne…

That’s not Liadrin. It’s a fetishistic anime girl minus the humongous eyes. This is Liadrin:

She was just going through her anime girl phase. She grew out of it. It’s a natural part of all elven socialisation.

Baine goes from looking omega old and venerable to young Bogdanoff depending on which artist is drawing him.

Its important for every fantasy woman to learn how to twist her spine so she can show off both her butt and chest in the same picture, you should know this!

So far its fairly lighthearted, starting off easy.

Its also alot more music than ever before. Ncuti is great!

I’ve only seen the first episode so far. Since I’ve been trying to get my wife into it, and we’re slowly working our way through the Tennant era, she’s been excited for the Ncuti era since she loves his previous work.

She was a bit non plussed by “Space Babies” and yeah I get it. Maybe episode 2 is a bit better.

Episode 2 is miles better. Space babies was ehh, the worst was when we noticed the cgi lip movements. It was so cursed.
