Tbh I gave up on that game, even with cavalry I was getting nowhere unless I built supply hubs and rails, and then only afew tiles. But then the russians port-struck and blew almost all my good ships out of the water and I just decided “Nah, this just aint worth it anymore.”

I dunno if the feat is a mod or one of the things Owlcat added in the recent patch but I just took a feat to one-hand quarterstaffs specifically on my monk, so now I’m dual wielding big sticks. Bonk bonk bonk.

At first I thought it was quite a silly way to phrase it. After all, surely if once a fan, always a fan? Unless something has forced it out of favour, but then ‘ex-fan’ seems more appropriate.
But I suppose with something that has new content coming out for it, ‘retired’ fan does make more sense. I’m a fan of pokémon, but if I’m honest I’ve not really touched any of the games since…uh…the Sun/Moon, and even that I didn’t really play for very long at all. I’m not paying much attention to the new stuff, so maybe ‘retired’ fan is appropriate for that. It’s not that it fell out of favour, I just moved on.
Anyway I thought it was weird and there it is.
Don’t ask if I’m a retired fan of WoW, I don’t want to interrogate that.

I’m not competent enough to survive that as france, but I have seen the war end very early by some silly nonsense and since the AI still craves war to have a narrative I ended up with the democratic nations of europe turning inward, making new factions and ripping each other apart regardless.
If I remember it properly, you had the Allies (mostly brits + colonies), USA and free Canada and Mexico invading france and the Germans having a neutal bloc in central europe that was dragged into the world war kicking and screaming by communist Italy which had, while still under Mr. Si, been the main instigators of the whole thing.
