Yesterday morning on my walk to work I saw someone lay out a tray of apples outside their house, free for anyone to take. The tray was on the ground, not on a box or a wall, and despite the fact that I know that there was a thick plastic tray between ground and fruit, my brain still went “bad idea!” that it probably wouldn’t have done if it was more elevated.
It’s not like a small box would’ve really changed anything either. They would still be as exposed to car exhausts.
However on my way home, the tray was empty, so clearly other people’s brains didn’t care as much as mine did.
still not as bad as the pledge of allegiance

I mean who hasn’t walked into a school and made the children swear total loyalty to the state via an indoctrinisation ritual.
You know I joke but having the kids sing ‘we’re so proud of our school and eveything about it’ every second assembly whilst the head stands by the stage grinning from ear to ear like a proud despot could probably count.
But mostly in the UK we just make them dance. There’s a lot of mandated dancing in schools. It’s weird.

can i just say how much they surprised me. the transition from Open world to them was weirdly smooth, content was fun and compared to scenarios are an attached part of the world.

the transition from open world just felt like a loading screen to me. idk, didn’t seem all that special
first one was okay, but bare bones. i can see it being interesting as it’s built up as i level.
my main problem right now is i completely stomp everything i come into contact with, presumably because it’s scaled for people in dragonflight levelling greens
then im just easily impressed i guess
