It’s weird how adding an NPC companion and just a little bit of story turns it from the fairly terrible experience of Torghast to the pretty fun romp of Delves

The only odd thing the local schools do is the odd church visit. We did that twice across the four schools I’ve been to.
Idk who thinks kids are going to care about that.

Watched Rings of Power season 2 episode 1.
Seems good so far. Looks like they’ve listened to the feedback and made amends for the missteps of season 1. The visuals continue to be gorgeous and Cirdan’s casting is absolutely spot on.

I was going to watch it regardless, but the Variety review (which has been lambasted) of “its boring nerd trash and appeals to Tolkien nerds” got my attention.

I actually prefer Torghast to delves honestly and it’s not even especially close.
I think I’d like delves a bit more if I had companion options who aren’t Brann.
Absolutely love Torghast, personally.

It also hasn’t helped that ever since S1(and honestly even before it was even out), there’s the typical losers who will just automatically say its bad for simply existing.
