Forgot to include that they’re not allowed to be “written like men”(No explanation for what that means).

But at the same time, if their femininity is a part of their character, it will still be criticized because its “political”.

I’ve unironically seen that exact thing said about 12 different times in that thread so far.

Can’t stand that man.

Mediocre wash-up who tries to heavily inflate his importance in a company he no longer works at in order to chase clout and just be a really unpleasant person.

beep beep here comes the firefall short bus.

I completely forgot that it ever was a thing until now.

well he was a producer at blizzard, so the firefall marketing bus disaster is literally the only thing of note he’s ever done in his career.

mark kern likes to take responsibility for classic wow as well because he “hand delivered” the petition list for bringing it back directly to mike morhaime on printed paper

but i can’t see that this is the straw that broke the camel’s back

He sounds like Tommy Tallarico when it comes to him telling everyone how important he was for WoW’s creation.

It’s the same kind of lying and over inflation of their actual work.

producers always think they’re important

just like those scummy middle managers like me

Reminded me of this joke for some reason.

Reminds me of ‘executive head’. Great, now move aside so I can talk the person who can actually deal with the issue. You know. The -actual- head.

Mark Kern - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Kern

He was a producer at Blizzard for a few years, then left to found a studio with other ex-blizz employees called Red 5 Studios

He spent $3 million on a failed marketing gimmick, a bus for their game Firefall - https://x.com/firefallbus

After he was kicked out of Red 5 he realised he could make more of a name for himself by joining in on the far-right grifting on Twitter, and so far has been screaming unintelligble things like ‘woke’ and ‘DEI’ for a number of years.

Ah, I see, very tiring.

He’s one of the people who realised that leaning hard into right wing buzzwords gets you lots of engagement and relevence where previously he had none.

This skips over his none-game “EM8ER” which has been in perpetual development hell for the better part of a decade but has still been selling preorder packs, skins, etc. in a very similar way to Scam Star Citizen.

proving once and for all that just because you were part of a team that made a successful game does not mean that you were the reason the game was successful and have the midas touch

I forgot about em8er.

I wish it had remained so… https://www.em8er.com/assets/images/char4.png
