Itâs again, very Tallarico behavior.
(For the uniniated, Tommy Tallaricoâs studio worked on Metroid Prime for like 2 months before getting replaced. His sound designer made maybe 1-2 weapon sounds that got used in the game. Tommy Tallarico however has spent the last two decades saying that he himself worked hand in hand with the creator of Metroid as close friends and was heavily involved in the production. This is not even the strangest thing he has lied about).
(He is also very bad with money as seen by his attempt at making a game console going nowhere despite having 4 fundraider campaigns that got into the millions).

Turns out the circumstnces in which Sauron presents himself to Celebrimbor in that form make perfect sense in the actual show. Actually, all of Sauronâs manipulation in the show so far is entirely consistent with how I imagine him operating in the Second Age: feed his victims half-truths and lies spun from a kernel of truth, and let their imaginations do the rest.
Spoilers
He tells Adar, whoâs ruling Mordor, that Sauron has appeared again, and that he knows about his whereabouts â which is true, except he neglected to mention that he was Sauron. Arriving in Eregion as Halbrand and ascertaining that Celebrimbor is in the dark about happenings in Lindon, he reveals that Mordorâs rise threatens all Middle-earth (true), that heâs actually a Maia (true) and a messenger of the Valar (false), and plays on Celebrimborâs insecurity of staying in his grandfatherâs shadow. Annatarâs seduction of Celebrimbor is entirely believable, even if the ruse will be off the moment that Eregion receives news from Lindon.

A few days ago when I was on Lotro I saw someone in the world chat say that it was amusing how despite the complaints, the black/poc actors in RoP ended up having the more interesting and better characters of S1.
Which I do quite agree with. Both Arondir and Disa were some of the bigger highlights in S1! Very good characters and actors.
